On 12 October, we had our first well-being day of the academic year. During recess, we provided a range of activities for our students to explore their hobbies, interests, and physical fitness. It was a joyful sight to see them wearing T-shirts that brought them happiness. Additionally, on October 11th, during break time, we have set up exhibition booths featuring chrysanthemum appreciation, tea-tasting, cornelian cherry sachet, and traditional handicrafts. Let’s come together to explore and embrace the beauty of the traditional culture. 🌼🍵
The DP1 Biology and Environmental Systems and Societies students went on a learning journey in Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park. They carried out on-site field study at rocky and sandy shores and learned about intertidal habitats by setting up quadrats. The students get to observe features of many coastal organisms. They ended the learning journey with coral observation on a glass-bottomed boat.
In September, as part of the IBDP Group 4 program known as Collaborative Science Project (CSP), our students participated in a learning journey at Ocean Park to understand one of the local conservation efforts. One group of students learned about the equipment and methods used in examining marine animals and understand marine life stranding through actual cases. 🌡️💉 We are glad that many of our students and staff participated in the seasonal influenza vaccination (SIV) programmes today. By getting vaccinated against seasonal influenza, we are not only protecting ourselves but also safeguarding those around us, especially those who may be more vulnerable to the flu. The Athletic Council (AC) kicked off the year with their traditional AC Inter-House 🏐Volleyball games for all grades.
