AY2425 Secondary CNY Celebration Performance

Our talented teachers and students presented a series of spectacular performances, including incredible music, Chinese dance, fashion show etc. The Chinese department also invited Ms. Jiang, an award-winning performer for a captivating Chinese magic show, along with a professional Lion Dance to celebrate the SG60 of the Chinese New Year. 华文部老师於4月带领中二一语班学生前往香港新闻博览馆参观。参观过程中同学们聆听了资深记者讲座、参与了新闻制作体验游戏，并通过工作人员的详细导赏了解了香港新闻传媒的发展历程、重大事件的新闻报道、新闻采访技巧等内容，很好地配合了新闻单元的学习，是一次非常有意义的学习体验。 Our Secondary 2 First Language Chinese classes had an amazing learning experience back in April, when they visited the Hong Kong News-Expo with their teachers. SISHK Learning Journey: Classical Chinese Garden Visit

As part of their education on “Chinese Gardens” unit, our S2 Chinese Language students embarked on a visit to the Kowloon Walled City Park, in which the design was inspired by the Jiangnan garden style of the early Qing Dynasty. 记中一诗歌朗诵比赛 S1-2 方寻 Fang Xun 我很高兴能赢得本次中一年级诗歌朗诵比赛个人组的冠军！在此，我跟大家分享一下我准备比赛的经过。首先是选诗。当我第一次读到北岛的《一束》时，诗中使用了大量意象，例如 “海湾”、“帆”、“画框”、“田园”、“日历”、“罗盘”、“书签”，十分引人入胜，很有画面感，一下就把我吸引住了。我立刻决定用这首诗来参加比赛。在把诗反复读了几遍后，我认为诗歌整体的感情较为含蓄委婉。从第一段 “童年清脆的呼喊”，到第二段“陪伴星星的夜晚”，这些意象都呈现出较明快、愉悦的氛围。从第三段开始，“暗中滑行的光线”、“写在最后的序言”，到最后一段“鸿沟”、“池沼”、“正在下陷的深渊”，诗中的情感则变得较为深沉，所以我在练习朗读时也做了一些语调上的变化起伏。此外，在选择背景音乐时，根据诗歌的氛围，我立刻想起了最喜爱的古典乐曲之一 —— 德彪西的《月光》。在经过几次排练后，音乐和诗歌搭配得十分和谐。经过班级内的初选后，秦老师通知我代表班级参加朗诵比赛的个人组赛，并给了我许多朗诵上的建议，还帮助我完善了PPT。在比赛当天，大家的表现都十分精彩，台下的我有点忐忑。然而，站上舞台时，我反而不那么紧张了。这次比赛让我对诗歌有了更多的热爱，希望下次能有更多同学踊跃参与！个人组一等奖《一束》作者：北岛朗诵：方寻个人组二等奖《你的名字》作者：纪弦朗诵：李守天个人组三等奖《河流》作者：谷川俊太郎（日本）朗诵：郑家淳小组一等奖《城市风景》作者：也斯朗诵：石雯关子禾龚弘毅沈俊哲小组二等奖《这是四点零八分的北京》作者：食指朗诵：孙兆熙杨宛融于熙雯马祺元小组三等奖《在风中飘》作者：迪伦（美国）朗诵：陈子恬姚莲馨吴铠霖曾宥琳最受欢迎奖《城市风景》作者：也斯朗诵：石雯关子禾龚弘毅沈俊哲最具活力奖《我不知道》作者：希梅内斯朗诵：杨世弘胡承羲梁思朗林劼迅
