Endangered Animals Jigsaw Puzzle Activity

Cultural Heritage – Tuen Ng Festival Glutinous Rice Dumpling Making Activity

Tuen Ng Festival comes with various energetic celebrations and traditions. Every year it is celebrated with the Dragon Boat races, the putting up of wormwood and, most famously, the making of glutinous rice dumplings. Our P5 student learned about the making of rice dumplings during the Chinese class. Their teachers demonstrated how to wrap rice dumplings in bamboo leaves. Music Island Festival brings forth excitement and fun!

Samuel Craig From 17 to 21 May, our school plaza rang out with the joyful musical delights of the Music Island Festival. During their respective playtimes, P1 to P4 students were given the opportunity to serenade an audience with solo and ensemble musical instrument playing and singing. 30 April marked the final Green Day of this academic year. The theme was “Earth Day” and students wore green T-shirts to school to show support for environmental protection. Together with other talented young singers from China, the U.S., Canada and the U.K., our P2 student Angelina Chan performed a new charity song “The Sun Rises”. The song was composed by three teenagers from China and the U.S. Produced by Global Youth Philanthropy, the song reflects the views of young people on the effects of the pandemic and their hope for a bright future. Edwina Lam Congratulations to our students who achieved excellent results in Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO) and Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC) 2020. SASMO is one of the largest Mathematical Olympiads in Asia with over 20,000 students participating.
