AY2526 DP1 Young Writer Talk

Nic Lau, a talented 15-year-old writer, recently visited our DP1 students to share her poetry collection, Salvage from a Broken Tongue. Her book talk left a strong impression on students, who were inspired by the depth, maturity, and beauty of her writing. We are also sincerely grateful to Mr Lee, Nic’s grandfather, for his generous gift of additional copies of the book for our DP1 cohort.

AY2526 UNSDG English Debate

SISHK swept the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG) English Debate international schools’ division titles for Juniors and Seniors! They debated on topics such as AI and the nationalisation of rainforests against French International School and United World College. We remain the undefeated champions in the Seniors Div. for four consecutive years. Special mention goes to S2-3 Quentin Leung, youngest competitor in the Seniors’ competition to win Best Speaker. Well done to our debaters and teacher-coaches!

AY2526 S1 English Championship

Post EOY exams, the S1s all gathered together for a cutthroat, fun-filled English Cohort Championship! Classes competed in high-stakes games of Bad Dictionary, You Absolute Idiom and Spelling Bee Scramble. All classes showed their creativity, extensive vocabulary, teamwork and artistic skills. S1-1 went head-to-head with S1-4 in an exciting spelling bee tie break and emerged victorious!
