S2 Beijing WOW Trip
Our S2 students embarked on an unforgettable journey to Beijing, and it was an absolute WOW experience! From the iconic sites of the Forbidden City(故宫) and the Great Wall (长城) to the ancient Hutongs(胡同), our S2s got the opportunity to explore the wonders of China. Our S1 students just returned from an amazing WOW Trip in Singapore that was jam-packed with excitement and learning opportunities. Beyond the thrills at Universal Studios Singapore, they explored different aspects of Singapore’s heritage through a Harmony in Diversity Walking Tour, an amphibious journey through the Civic District, and they learnt about 700 years of Singapore history at National Museum of Singapore. S3 Vietnam WOW Trip: Culture, History & Adventure!
Our S3 students embarked on an unforgettable WOW trip to Vietnam, immersing themselves in the country’s rich culture, poignant history, and vibrant village life. From exploring museums and historic sites like the Cu Chi Tunnels to hands-on experiences like pottery-making and rice farming, they gained a deep appreciation for Vietnam’s heritage. Navigating bustling markets and savoring local cuisine added to the authentic cultural experience. This trip provided eye-opening lessons and created lasting memories for our S3 students.

Hong Kong Juniors Chess Club Interschool Championship
SISHK sent 2 teams to play in the Hong Kong Juniors Chess Club Interschool Championship in April. They fought decisively over 7 1-hour rounds, with Team A scoring an impressive 9th place out of 50 teams, and placing as the 5th runner up school overall, taking home a trophy for SIS. Special congratulations to S1 Marvin Zhang, S2 Issac Oh and S1 Milton Chan for winning individual prizes for their performance at their board. Go Lions!
