Green Club Learning Journey

On February 22, 2025, a group of green club students embarked on a fascinating learning journey at Hong Kong’s T·PARK. This pioneering sludge treatment facility embodies the city’s commitment to sustainable development. The day began with a guided tour, which provided an in-depth look at the facility’s advanced incineration system. This system not only reduces the sludge volume by 90% but also generates electricity, enough to power up to 4,000 households, showcasing the innovative “sludge-to-electricity” process.

Following the tour, participants attended a lecture that explored the intricacies of transforming waste into energy. Additionally, they participated in a workshop on making recycled paper. Overall, the learning journey at T·PARK was educational and enjoyable, offering valuable insights into sustainable practices and innovative waste management solutions.
