The Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival in Hong Kong 2019 took place at Singapore International School Hong Kong on 23 March. It was organized by Dr Tan Chee-Wei, an associate professor at the Department of Computer Science of the City University of Hong Kong in collaboration with SISHK. Primary 5 to Secondary 2 SISHK students explored the richness and beauty of mathematics through activities that encourage collaborative and creative problem-solving. This festival was also opened to students from other schools and brought together a diverse audience of young people, school teachers and math lovers in the community to explore problem solving with the goal of broadening society’s appreciation of mathematics.
