P1 and P2 STEM Challenges
Edwina Lam
To promote the joy of learning through play, the I&D Department set up two STEM Challenges for our P1 and P2 students in June. Our P1 students in groups were required to build a LEGO bridge above a river that can hold at least 4 water bottles. Our P2 students teamed up and used straws and connectors to build different 3D structures.
These STEM challenges foster curiosity, critical thinking, collaboration and resilience. The energy level was high and thanks to our wonderful form teachers, teacher assistants and parent volunteers who have made these activities a great success!
