“Clean Tray Challenge” on our first Green Day

The first Green Day of this academic year was held on 30 September, gearing up for sustainability-focused events in the school. On Green Day, there was a “Clean Tray Challenge” where students were encouraged to finish their food on their trays.

This year, Hong Kong has experienced its hottest summer ever recorded. More than 30% of Hong Kong’s carbon emissions result from air conditioning. We encouraged our students to join the ‘No Aircon Night’ on the 8 October. This territory-wide energy saving campaign that started in 2010 aims to promote the wise use of air conditioning.
