Bebras Computing Challenge

The Bebras Computing Challenge is a global initiative designed to inspire and uncover students’ potential in computing through a series of engaging, age-appropriate tasks. It is a thrilling opportunity for students to dive into the world of informatics and computational thinking. With no prior preparation required, participants can showcase their skills and creativity in solving problems. This challenge not only offers a fun and educational experience but also serves as a platform to ignite passion for computing among students.

At the Secondary school, this challenge was conducted during the week of the international event at the end of November 2023, and our S2 to DP2 ICT and Computer Science students took the challenge under timed conditions. Their results are overwhelming when compared to participating schools in the United States and the rest of the world.

This week, our first-ranked students who won the ‘Best in School’ awards for their respective categories (Secondary 2, Secondary 3/4, and IBDP) were presented with their certificates of attainment during level assemblies. Excellent work and congratulations to all the students who have participated in the challenge, in particular to those who clinched the ‘Best in School’ and ‘Honour Roll’ awards:
