AY2324 Primary STEAM Week – Assembly Talk

During our action-packed STEAM Week, one of the highlights was the insightful assembly talk by Mr. Kinan Tsui, General Manager, Head of Corporate Communication from Octopus Cards Limited. He shared the captivating success story behind Octopus’s contactless stored value card that we all use and love!

Our students were truly inspired as they delved into the history of this pioneer in stored-value technology. They discovered how this innovative product has continuously evolved and improved over the years since its initial product launch in 1997.

During the talk, our curious students had the opportunity to learn about the fascinating technology that powers the Octopus card. They asked thought-provoking questions and gained a deeper understanding of the inner workings of this incredible invention.

We are immensely proud of our students’ enthusiasm and engagement throughout the talk. Their thirst for knowledge and their passion for learning shone brightly during this memorable event.
