Prefects’ Investiture

Being Head Prefect of Year 2017/18 has a very special meaning to me. It marks the final year for me as a student leader in the Primary Section of Singapore International School Hong Kong (SISHK). My journey has proven, once again, to be marked with excitement.

The election process was not a walk in the park. There were intense preparations for the posters, speeches, and other personal tasks I faced. Whenever my morale wavered, all my friends, teachers, and parents were very supportive, as they gave me a good nudge to get me back on track and to propel me forward with even greater confidence.

Friday, 22 September 2017 marked another milestone for me at SISHK. The honour to lead my fellow prefects to commemorate the Prefects’ Investiture made me feel very proud to be part of this school community. I truly hope the Prefect Team can represent the SISHK student body and serve as facilitators who make the school a better place.
