AY2324 Dragon Boat Activities

The Primary Chinese Department prepared a Dragon Boat Festival celebration for our Primary students. Students experienced various traditional customs such as rice dumplings tasting, experiencing the aroma of mugwort, and enjoying the benefits of moxibustion. They also participated in traditional activities including making colorful hand straps, crafting sachets, and playing the pot-throwing game.

Primary 5 students even experienced wrapping rice dumpling with bamboo leaves, during their Chinese class under the guidance of parents and teachers. Thank you to the parent volunteers and teachers for the wonderful post-exam event.

华文部组织了端午节庆祝活动。谢谢各位家长义工的帮忙，同学们体验了吃粽子、闻艾草、熏艾灸的传统习俗，还进行了编彩绳、包纸粽子、做香囊、投壶的传统活动。 五年级的同学还在课上亲自包了粽子，深入体会到了端午的文化。
