AY2425 STEAM Week – Assembly Guest Speakers

This year, we celebrated STEM Week with a focus on sustainability, featuring a range of interactive activities and inspiring guest speakers. It was our honour to invite the following market experts to share their invaluable insights and experiences in their respective fields that contribute to sustainable living:

Mr Samuel Lam from XSocial Group talked about the low altitude economy in Hong Kong and shared insights on drone applications and the creation of drone shows, highlighting his company’s achievement of setting two Guinness World Records in Shenzhen on 26th September 24, a dazzling drone show with 10,197 drones simultaneously airborne under the control of a single computer.

Mr Ivan Wan from AI CAT International introduced our P3 & P4 students to Smart Recycling with his company’s innovative IoT technology at Green@community in Hong Kong.

Mr Kenny Tso from Organic Tech Limited shared insights on bioconversion methods for effective food waste treatment.

Ms Benita Chick from Encompass HK engaged our P1 & P2 students on the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how they can make a difference.
