IBDP Computer Science Students Explore Ethical Hacking at HKIT
On Friday, 16 January 2026, our IB Diploma Programme Computer Science students participated in a hands-on and insightful seminar on Ethical Hacking, hosted by the Hong Kong Institute of Technology (HKIT).
Led by a professional ethical hacker, the session introduced students to the fundamentals of cybersecurity and ethical responsibilities in defending digital systems. Using Kali Linux—a specialized Linux distribution used by cybersecurity professionals—students explored how vulnerabilities are identified and addressed before they can be exploited by malicious attackers.
