Celebrating Computational Excellence Across Borders
In Term 2, our ICT and Computer Science students from Secondary 2 to DP2 took part in the globally renowned Bebras Computing Challenge—an international initiative that brings the fascinating world of informatics and computational thinking into the classroom.
Held annually in over 30 countries, the Bebras Challenge engages students in solving age-appropriate, logic-based problems that stimulate their analytical thinking, creativity, and digital problem-solving skills. It is not just a test of knowledge, but a celebration of how young minds think computationally.
We are proud to announce that our students once again excelled in this prestigious competition. Not only did they rise to the challenge, but many of their scores surpassed those of peers in schools across the United States and other participating nations—an outstanding reflection of their talent and hard work.
Recognition and Awards
Special congratulations go to our students who received the coveted ‘Best in School’ awards in their respective categories (Secondary 2, Secondary 3 & 4, and IBDP), recognising the highest-scoring student—or those who achieved a perfect of 180/180. Additionally, students whose scores placed them in the top 25% globally earned places on the international ‘Honour Roll’, a mark of excellence awarded to top performers worldwide.
All awardees were recognised during our recent level assemblies, where they were presented with certificates celebrating their achievement.
