Secondary Students Win ‘Teamwork Merit Award’ at Creative Coding Competition 2025/26
Congratulations to our Secondary Students for winning the “Teamwork Merit Award” at the Creative Coding Competition 2025/26 – Device Model Design Competition, held recently at the Hong Kong Science Park Innovation Centre.
Organised by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) and the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Hong Kong, this event aims to promote STEM education, inspire students’ interest in programming and design, and strengthen their skills in technological application.
This year’s theme, “Water Resource Management,” encouraged students to explore how technology, programming, and creative design can address real-world challenges related to the responsible use and management of water resources. Through designing and assembling their own device model based on this meaningful theme, students had the opportunity to apply programming concepts, develop digital thinking, and enhance their creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
👏 Congratulations again to our Secondary 1 Members: Huang Jinlan, Li David, Lin Zehou, Tam Holton!
We are incredibly proud of our participating students for their excellent teamwork, creativity, and commitment throughout the competition. A heartfelt thank you also goes out to our school leaders and parents for their unwavering support in making this meaningful learning experience possible.
