Congratulations to our students who took part in the First Hong Kong Youth Space Innovation Competition

On 25th of June, two teams of Secondary One SISHK students participated in the First Hong Kong Youth Space Innovation Competition organized by Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association. SISHK Hydroponic Farming (P3)

Our P3 students had so much fun growing vegetables in a hydroponic farm. Not only did they observe the life cycle of a plant, they also learnt about the concept of sustainability and environmental responsibility. This project concluded in a meaningful way – all harvested vegetables were donated to a local elderly community.

University Counselling Team arranged an alumni sharing session for our IBDP year 1 students

As the end of the academic year approaches, our University Counselling Team arranged an alumni sharing session for our IBDP year 1 students. Our students found the session very useful. Apart from gaining insightful tips on researching the best fit universities for them, they also got a preliminary idea of what to expect in university life.

SISHK Strive Art Installation: HARMONY x EUTIERRIA

Every step counts! Our PY1 students and teachers came together for a sponsored walk two weeks ago. It’s amazing that a simple healthy exercise can also be a fundraising activity for the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation. Experience the traditions of Tuen Ng Festival with joy and laughter

为了庆贺端午佳节，五年级的华文老师在华文课上举行了一系列的庆贺活动，包括：包粽子、观赏赛龙舟、点艾灸和挂艾草等。学生们积极踊跃尝试包粽子，虽然很多都是第一次亲手包，但依旧包得有模有样，大家在欢声笑语中体验了一把端午民俗。 To celebrate the Tuen Ng Festival, our P5 Chinese teachers organized a series of activities during the Chinese class. Activities include making glutinous rice dumplings, watching dragon boat races, burning of moxa and hanging mugwort leaves. Most of our students were able to emulate the making the dumplings with their own hands. They have fun with the hands-on activity. Our students have experienced the traditions of Tuen Ng Festival with joy and laughter.

SISHK student’s artwork shines in Singapore Youth Festival 2022 Art Exhibition

The Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Art Exhibition is an annual event organised by the Ministry of Education in Singapore to provide students with opportunities to showcase artistic talents and to promote art appreciation in schools. SISHK Mindfulness and Yoga Workshop

The Student Well-Being Team organized a mindfulness and yoga workshop for our S3 cohort. During the workshop, the students practiced deep breathing as well as stretching, and they learned how to relieve stress and boost their mood with powerful relaxation techniques.

Primary Years students presented a booklet full of thank you cards and letters to frontline heroes

To express our appreciation to the heroes from various Government department in fighting against the Covid-19 virus, our students created some booklets full of thank you cards and letters written by them. In the past two weeks, the Singapore Consulate-General in Hong Kong and our school visited the Hospital Authority, Police Force, Fire Services Department as well as the Customs and Excise Department. We had the honour of personally presenting the booklets to them.
