Congratulations to our students who took part in the First Hong Kong Youth Space Innovation Competition
On 25th of June, two teams of Secondary One SISHK students participated in the First Hong Kong Youth Space Innovation Competition organized by Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association. This year’s competition themes were Moon exploration, Mars exploration, satellite design and future space engineering. Both teams made it to the final round.
The first team of students – (Paul) Xu Ruofan and (Jacky) Guan Rong produced a satellite model based on an online simulation. They received second place in the Junior Secondary category.
The second team consists of four students – Nathan Lin, Nickolas Seah, Daniel Lau and Harry Shen. They had chosen the theme ‘future space engineering’ and had produced a prototype of a water filtration system based on centripetal force. This group received third place in the Junior Secondary category.
