Primary Library Week

Library Week was held on 11th – 15th March and we had a lot of fun activities. Matthew Gollub entertained the PY1s – P2s with his stories about “Uncle Snake” and “Jazz Fly”. ISSFHK U12 Basketball League

After the rigorous training season in the ISSFHK Basketball League, our U12 Basketball Boys Team secured a place in the Finals. The boys went out to compete in the Finals and after a close game, they achieved the second place. On 23 February and 10 March 2019, four teams of P4 – P5 Robotics CCA students participated in 2019 RoboFest organised by The Lawrence Technological University. The four teams were entered for two different categories: Bottle Sumo and Robo Parade. Family Festival 感想

1月26日下午三点，一年一度学校的Family Festival在下午时分缓缓落幕，带走了同学们对这天无限的怀念与不舍。今年的Family Festival别具特色，融合了往年的Open House，Christmas Fair 和春节庆祝活动三项重大节目的精华，构成了此次别开生面的活动。 1月26日上午九点，Family Festival 在中学部教学楼里拉开了帷幕。12楼的体育馆充满了“年”的味道，处处张灯结彩，喜气洋洋。体育馆里有中学部和小学部各种课外活动的展览，展现出我们多姿多彩的课余生活和欢快时光。11点钟，只见两只红蓝狮子随着震耳的锣鼓声表演，两只狮子在欢快地舞蹈着，时而腾空飞跃，时而摇头摆尾，围绕着场地巡回表演。这时，狮子还有“采青”仪式，将生菜撒向大家，生菜代表着“生财、如意、吉祥”，把这“生财生财、如意、吉祥”的美好祝愿传递给大家。中午时分，小学部的Plaza挤得水泄不通。大家大排长龙买各种美食佳肴，比如海南鸡饭、印度煎饼、沙爹串⋯⋯个个都吃得津津有味，赞不绝口。小学部体育馆里的春季集市也是人声鼎沸，同学们专心地选购着精美的礼品，同学们热情洋溢地介绍着产品，以各种优惠吸引想购买的来宾们。在四楼的Plaza有中一、二同学们精心设计和组织的8个游戏摊位为学校的建设筹款。每个游戏独树一帜，吸引了许多同学前来游玩，欢笑声此起彼伏，四处洋溢着喜悦之情。同学们组办的游戏摊位加上家长们精心准备的可口棉花糖和爆米花受到了访客们的赞赏。顿时觉得“年”的气氛在语笑喧阗，四处洋溢着欢声笑语里充分体现出来了。在不经意间，时间飞快地流逝着，转眼间又到了要离别的时候了，同学们依依不舍地走出了着洋溢着欢乐与激情的学校，在殷红的夕阳下带走了一片绚丽的云霞，但这欢歌笑语将永远珍藏在每个人的心底。

There was chattering heard all around the school and the students were excitingly talking about one thing only: the Annual Ice Cream Sale. The Ice Cream Sale was held on 18th-19th October at lunchtime. This year, we had 3 different flavours to offer: Orange Fruitips, Blackcurrant Fruitips and Cookies & Cream Mega Ice Cream.
