Battle of the Books 2023 – Book Talks

As a continuity of the Library Week and a celebration of the live return of @litfest_hk, it’s our pleasure to have authors and illustrator to our event “Battle of the Books” book talks.

Author Mr Jaimal Yogis and illustrator Ms. Vivian Truong shared about their graphic novel, #City of Dragons. Our Primary students were truly inspired, and they all enjoyed the dragon drawing exercise at the end of the session. While Ms. Weng Wai Chan shared her inspiration behind her award-winning middle-grade novel “Lizard’s tale”. Our secondary students learned from Ms. Chan and explored how to take an idea and make it into a compelling story.
