Career talk by Mr. Simon Manning from Langham Hospitality Group

We invited Mr. Simon Manning, Senior Vice President, Chief Sales & Development Officer Langham Hospitality Group to deliver a career talk on 12 May. As a seasoned hotel professional, Mr. Mannnng shared with our Secondary 1 students the importance of building resilience and adaptability when facing challenges.

The hospitality industry has been heavily impacted by Covid-19 pandemic strategies, such as social distancing, travel bans, and community lockdowns. Mr. Manning and his team responded to these changes quickly and successfully developed new products and experiences – from staycations to restaurant promotions and alternative use of event space. He encouraged our students to observe and be adaptable to the rapidly changing environment.
