Primary Years Drama Performance

Our P1 students performed dramatic plays created by their drama teachers based on their class values on 12 January. Some of the stories even connected drama education and citizenship education such as P1 Respect who performed a story about plastic pollution in the ocean. This activity gave students the opportunity to link up designs with global issues as well. They created their own costumes and learned how to help the planet by making some of them from recycled materials. Producing a play involves a lot of hard work but it is always a fun experience. Everyone memorised their lines and stage blocking very well, then reflected on the process via online platforms during home-based-learning.
