SISHK Primary Years Games Day 2022
Our Primary Years Games Day was held in mid-Dec 2022. It is an annual event with a series of inter-class games, through which our students learn the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship.
Our Primary 4 students celebrate winter solstice with tangyuan tasting
今天是冬至，跟农历新年一样，冬至也是一个与家人团圆相聚的日子。甚至也有“冬至大过年”一说。我们的华文老师在12月初，为四年级的学生准备了品尝汤圆的活动，并让他们了解冬至的传统习俗。 祝大家冬至快乐! Today is the Winter Solstice. Like Chinese New Year, Winter Solstice is celebrated as a day for family reunions. Our Chinese teachers prepared a “Tangyuan” (glutinous rice balls) tasting activity for Primary 4 students in early December, allowing them to learn about the traditions of winter solstice. We wish you a happy Winter Solstice!
SISHK Family Festival – Secondary Years Game stalls
Our Secondary Years students created a variety of games and activities as part of the Family Festival this year. All the game stalls were nicely set up in the Sports Hall and our Primary 1 to Primary 6 had chance to visit and play during their recess. The Primary Years enjoyed and interacted well while the Secondary Years showcased their creativity in developing different stalls. It made a great experience for students from both sections.
SISHK Family Festival Live Performance Week
Selected P1 to P6 students/classes are scheduled to perform during their respective recesses. The event is an excellent opportunity for our students to showcase their performing arts talents in conjunction with Family Fest and create a vibrant arts scene in the school. SISHK STEAM Week 2022
It’s STEAM Week in SISHK! The theme for the STEAM Week 2022 is “Magic”. To increase student curiosity in STEAM learning, our STEAM ambassadors from Secondary section performed magic on stage during assemblies using science principles, followed by sharing with the audience how the magic is being performed. Congratulations to School Swimming Team at ISSFHK Championships
Congratulations to our School Swimming Team on their outstanding performances at the International Schools Sports Federation Hong Kong (ISSFHK) Swimming Championships! Leung Evan Kam Yin (P6) –Bronze Medal in 50m Backstroke, Bronze Medal in 100m Backstroke Li Yuekun (P5) – Gold Medal in 50m Freestyle, Silver Medal in 100m Freestyle and Silver Medal in 50m Butterfly Keep it up!
SISHK S1-4 Camps
The 3-day non-residential camp in October brought our S1-S4 students to the great outdoors. Through a series of outdoor activities, we hope our students will: ● Acquire leadership and life skills for personal and future growth ● Connect with their peers in physical and social interactions ● Engage in outdoor and physical activities to foster the joy of learning and strengthen their character.
