Secondary students from our Mother’s Choice Youth Ambassadors Club organised a Parents’ Day Celebration, that aims to provide a platform to express their love, appreciation, and gratitude towards our parents in our lives. From Rainbow Loom Bracelet Making to Parents’ Day Card Making, and even a Baby Diaper Changing Workshop led by teachers from our Student-Wellbeing team, it was a week filled with love and appreciation. SISHK sent 2 teams to play in the Hong Kong Juniors Chess Club Interschool Championship in April. They fought decisively over 7 1-hour rounds, with Team A scoring an impressive 9th place out of 50 teams, and placing as the 5th runner up school overall, taking home a trophy for SIS. Special congratulations to S1 Marvin Zhang, S2 Issac Oh and S1 Milton Chan for winning individual prizes for their performance at their board. Go Lions!

The collaboration between Performing Arts and Visual Arts has given our students fun and diverse exposure to the arts. At the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals English Debate, SISHK dominated the International Schools’ Division, coming in 1st in the Senior Division and 1st and 2nd in the Junior Division. For many of the students involved, this was their first-ever debate competition! Go Lions!
Our P5 students embarked on an engaging Social Studies Learning Journey to the Hong Kong Maritime Museum. This educational excursion provided them with valuable insights into the importance of the sea and trade in the development of Hong Kong, as well as delving into the mysteries of its past and the challenges it may face in the future.
Congratulations to our students on their recent achievements in the Hong Kong Inter-School Chess Championships 2024♞! We are proud that one of our primary division team has achieved championship, second year in a row and one of the Primary Y1-Y3 division team has emerged as 4th runner-up. Well done!
The SISHK Battle of the Books team excelled in this term’s external competitions, winning all four rounds against VSA, three rounds against St. Paul’s Co-ed College, and two rounds against South Island School. Congratulations to the team on their outstanding performance!
