The first Green Day of this academic year was held on 30 September, gearing up for sustainability-focused events in the school. Leadership Camp for Prefects

World Robot Olympiad 2021 – Hong Kong Robot Challenge

Despite the global pandemic, our students still keep their motivation to learn and welcome new challenges. In June 2021, three of our Primary 6 students participated in the Robot Challenge 2021 organised by the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Hong Kong. With the arrival of the Mid-Autumn Festival, our DP1s helped organise our annual school-wide celebrations online this year. By hosting interactive cultural-themed activities and preparing an array of exciting performances, our students managed to bring smiles and festivities to the SISHK family despite physical restrictions. Hong Kong Specimen Drawing Competition 2020

Congratulations to Anushka Chandrashekhar (S3) who took part in the Hong Kong Specimen Drawing Competition 2020 organized by the Royal Society of Biology Hong Kong Branch and won an outstanding award in the Junior Secondary Category. This drawing competition aims at cultivating students’ interest in biological drawings and instilling their respect for the wonders of life and living things. Anushka’s piece of work is a cross section of a honey bee and has been displayed outside the Level 9 Laboratories.

SCMP Student of the Year Awards 2020/21

Jiang Leyi has achieved excellent results in various speech competitions, debates and reading clubs. Last year, she won the championship in the Hong Kong Inter-School Writing Competition and Greater Bay Area Youth Writing Competition, first runner-up in the Hong Kong Inter-school Putonghua Speech Competition (Senior Secondary) and second runner-up in the SISHK speech competition.
