by Matthew Wang, P4K Being the emcee for the National Day Whole School Assembly was a great learning experience. Preparation for the event was challenging, as we only had a week or so to prepare with the school Sport’s Day and holiday that was held just before the Whole School Assembly. On the day of the assembly, I had stage fright and I did not do as well as I usually did during rehearsals. Fortunately I took deep breaths […]
by Yumi Takafuku, P4D When Mr Kneale first asked me if I would like to be the emcee for the National Day Whole School Assembly, I was nervous. Though I have participated in several external speech competitions before, it was my first time speaking on stage in my friends and teachers’ presence. I quickly calmed myself down by telling myself I was lucky to be selected. I knew I could do it and make Mr Kneale proud. While practising […]

This is what we live for – what we wholeheartedly signed up for: the feeling of adrenaline coursing through our veins as we wipe away beads of sweat from our ruddy cheeks. For some, volleyball is merely a sport, but for the U16 Boys team, it is a commitment. Training from the very onset of the academic year, perfecting our digging and serving, before proceeding to […]
