Parents and students of SISHK are invited to join the Athletic Council Fundraiser Event which promotes physical and mental wellbeing through healthy habits within the entire SISHK community, and encourages interest in sports knowledge. This 3-day Adventures in Leadership programme in October 2021 was created for S2 students to develop their leadership, cooperation, inquiry into the natural world, and outdoor competencies. It has also been created with an emphasis on enjoying the outdoors as an end of the school year celebration.

Chinese Culture Connection organised the Culture Week in January to welcome the Year of the Tiger. Our P1 students performed dramatic plays created by their drama teachers based on their class values on 12 January. Some of the stories even connected drama education and citizenship education such as P1 Respect who performed a story about plastic pollution in the ocean. This activity gave students the opportunity to link up designs with global issues as well. Our S1 students are currently learning about the living processes of organisms and different organ systems in the human body. On 14 January, we invited Jurassic Garage for an engaging and hands-on activity in which they shared with students how the living processes and organ systems of the animals they brought in were slightly different from those in humans. It was also a wonderful occasion to remind us to appreciate nature.

Distinction: Jiarong Huang High distinction: Yarona Chan, Gavin Wong, Ziqi Zhang, Jingyun Zhou The Big Science Competition is a 50-minute multiple choice competition testing science knowledge, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Questions are set in real-life, contemporary contexts, making them relatable and interesting.
