HKSSF Tennis Championship

The Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation has organised an inter-school tennis competition in October 2019. 高雄浸濡印象

这次台湾浸濡，让我认识了台湾学校的教学风格，结交了许多新朋友，真是受益良多。从我们第一天进入高雄学校时的害羞与期待，到最后一天的难过与不舍，短短三天的学校交流中，我和学伴一起玩耍，一起合作，互相帮助，留下了许多难以忘怀的片段，结下了纯真的友谊。我们观赏了高雄小伙伴的音乐演出，了解了他们的游泳技术。在上英语课时，我们发挥了英文的强项，积极回答问题，还帮助班上的同学练习发音。我默默地想，上英语课应该是我们新加坡国际学校学生的自豪时刻吧！　　李雨泽 (P6RE) 这次的高雄浸濡活动中，我们去了博物馆、皮影戏馆、夜市和农场等许多景点，其中令我记忆最深刻的是去农场的体验。在去农场的路程比较远，当大家都在看旅游大巴上播的电影时，我却在看着外面偏远的农村的情景。我们去的时候是早上九点，农民们都已经在忙着耕田劳作了。农村人的皮肤都黑黑的，因为不管风吹雨打、不管天气有多么炎热，他们都坚持去农地干活。我不由得想到：我们在城市生活富足，吃着美味佳肴；但在遥远的农村，有些人的生活还比较贫困的。虽然农村人没有很多的物质享受，但他们也有自己的目标和理想，都很努力地在各自的岗位上辛勤工作，乡村的景象对我的触动很大。我决心珍惜当下，努力为自己的理想前进、加油！王加慕 (P6HY) 六天的学习，六天以来结识的新朋友，瑞祥国小的老师和同学，都令我印象深刻。想起在学校交流的最后一天，我和台湾的新朋友佩霖，都很不舍得离开对方。当时，她眼含泪水，说道：“虽然相处时间不长，但我们可以继续当朋友。”这句话，我会永远记在心中。真希望下次的旅行时间能更长一点，让我们和老师、朋友们再好好相处，有更多的时间彼此了解。这次的浸濡活动，如果没有老师的细心安排，就不会有我们在台湾的圆满之行。我要感谢老师们安排的这次行程，还有一路上的照顾和陪伴。谢嘉忆 (P6HY) 我们去了高雄的一所学校，他们那里有一个出色的皮影戏班。戏班的同学为我们表演了两出精彩的皮影戏，还教我们亲自动手制作皮影。我认认真真地做了一个七彩的螃蟹，这可是我第一次做皮影呢！心里感到特别自豪。后来，我们又去参观了皮影戏博物馆，了解了皮影戏里的人物以及它们的制作过程。童心满满的导游还让我们做了一次有奖问答的活动。我赢得了一张精美的书签，不由得心花怒放。王喆 (P6RY) 在台湾的这几天，我会给大家吃的食物和游玩的景点都打满分。我们吃到了很多好吃的美食，例如，多式多样的客家菜、牛肉面、饺子、热腾腾的火锅等等。当然，在我们去的瑞丰夜市里，也有大量高雄的特色小吃和零食。我们去的各个景点，也都十分有趣。其中最让我收获良多的就是“农夫一日游”了。那天，我们了解了农村生活与城市生活的区别，例如：城市生活更方便是因为有更多的交通工具、超市、银行和购物大厦等。在采摘凤梨前，那里的农夫叔叔为我们介绍摘凤梨的步骤。首先，我们要看清楚凤梨是橙色还是黄色的，颜色较黄和橙的凤梨代表是已经熟透了的。然后，我们需要一只手按着尖锐的绿叶，一直手往上轻推，两只手再一起发力，又大又甜的凤梨就得手了。接下来，我们去喂养吃草，并且喝到工作人员当场挤出来的羊奶。最后，我们在农场里吃了午餐，还有机会品尝了羊奶冰棍。邵克峻 (P6RT)

Ice cream sale

There was a buzz of excitement lingering in the air. Students dressed in striped uniforms were cheering and yelling on the staircase. The S1 Leadership Camp in Sai Wan, Sai Kung on October 16th-18th was a memorable experience for the S1 students. 中四露营

二零一九年十月十六号到十八号，全体中四同学举行了一年一度的露营活动。这次露营的与众不同之处是，一切校内活动都由学生组织，校外活动则由学校与慈善机构进行沟通后落实。学生分成不同的小组，前往香港各类慈善机构做义工服务，例如：爱护动物协会、惜食堂、东华养老院等等。经过这些义工活动，同学们都收获颇多。我参加了动物保护协会的活动，不仅学会了如何正确且干净地清理动物的笼子，更体会到了被遗弃动物的无助和孤独。当看见一只只小狗无助且孤独的眼神，我倍感痛苦。爱护动物协会的动物们让我明白了动物和人类一样是有感情的生物，我们应该像对待自己的孩子一样爱护自己的动物，不可以随意丢弃它们，伤害它们幼小的心灵。在露营的第二天，我们参加了惜食堂的义工活动。我和我的同伴们，还有负责老师一起前往位于深水埗的惜食堂。惜食堂是一个专门为有需要人士准备食物的慈善组织，食物都是由惜食堂的员工们和来自各行各界的义工们募集而来。在惜食堂，我学会了慈善组织背后是怎么运作的，更感受到食物的珍贵和食堂阿姨所付出的精力，从而让大家更加珍惜来之不易的食物。最后，我们把食物分派给社会人士，看着老人们吃上了热腾腾的晚餐，有一股自豪感在我们心中流淌。校内活动全部由学生自行组织，就拿晚餐为例吧：老师为每组提供500元港币的火锅预算，让学生自行购买所需要的食材，最后自己洗锅洗碗。这让许多在家依靠父母的孩子体验到了劳动的乐趣和辛苦，从而更加珍惜现在幸福的生活。除此之外，还有许许多多其它饶有趣味的活动，例如卡拉ok、狼人杀、电影欣赏…. 最后的“篝火晚会”，不少同学们上台表演。在欢声笑语中，这次露营迎来了尾声…..

S1 Orientation

The S1 Orientation on August 19th-20th was a prodigious and joyous experience for the S1 students to familiarize with the secondary campus.
